ABOUT MYSELF
I asked the people I met to bring me to their elective place and to wear their favorite clothes. They were free to choose their own pose, being and showing themselves as they wanted. This project gave me the possibility to show one of the many characters we are all made of.

HE/SHE
I was in Bologna taking pictures for a convention about gender and I met these women. When you are born in a body that doesn't represents you, a contrast can be felt, the borders within which you are living are often characterized by suffering. Some people need to face such a hard journey to find themselves.t

FIFTIES
In the middle of August, in Senigallia (a town by the Adriatic sea) time suddenly seems to have stopped and everything moves at the rhythm of swing. Summer Jamburee is a festival where all the people in town and those coming from outside are dressed like in the 1950s, listen to music, dance boogie woogie, drive noisy Harley motorbikes and big coloured american cars.

WHO I AM
When I was teaching at high school I decided to photograph my students. Adolescents are in a border area, in the middle between youth and the age when you start to define yourself.
