Florence is an Italian town mostly known for arts and monuments, tourists are an important part of the city. You can't see Florence without noticing tourists as well as the artistic and commercial part - they are embedded in the contemporary landscape.

LA STRADA DI CASA
I started this project about my grandparents and my home's landscape when I left my village in 2003. I felt the need to look at them, I was looking for the gesture, the faces and lines I was missing. I noticed it every time I came home, they were always the same, familiar to me.. but at the same time changing and getting older. I had to leave in order to understand the lines of that landscape. Escaping for coming back - this is what make me appreciate this land characterized by slow rhythms, strong ground and when the sky is clear an embracing infinite horizon.
